DENTAL IMPLANTS
World class implants.
Dental implanting is the process of replacing tooth roots with titanium. It provides a strong foundation for permanent or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth. Recent advancements in technology allow for the introduction of 2 implant types. There is the traditional implant and the mini dental implant.

The beauty of dental implants is that they are virtually indistinguishable from other teeth. The science behind this lies in the connection between the dental implant and the living
bone.
Implants can be placed in one sitting but require a period of osseointegration. This is the process in which the bone fuses with the implant. In the first step, the dentist surgically places the implant in the jaw which requires a healing process ranging from 3-6 months.
This is essential for the implant to anchor while also allowing the surrounding tissues to heal.
The dentist then uncovers the implant from the healed tissue and attaches an extension, often called a post. In some cases, the post may be attached during the initial procedure. When the post is in place, your dentist will obtain a crown consisting of a size, shape, and color that blends nicely with the neighboring teeth.
